The Arizona Disc Golf Club is proud to present the Thirteenth Annual Southwest Cactus Series! Please familiarize yourself with the following basic rules if you plan to compete for series standings:

  • All dates are subject to change without notice. Please call the AZDGC two weeks prior to an event to confirm the dates- club info line: 480-946-9509. Of course, you can also stop back here for the most current information on all the series tourneys.
  • The Point format will be the same as the last few years. Click here for details.  Note, the Memorial is once again a Cactus Series event, but money will not be taken from entry fees for this event.
  • You must compete in at least six events to qualify. If you compete in more than six events, your top six finishes are used, so increase your chances and play in them all!
  • Final Cactus Series payout is top one-third of qualifying competitors in the professional divisions and top half of qualifying competitors in the amateur divisions.
  • $3 from each Cactus Series Tournament participant is deducted from the entry and put towards the end of series payout.
  • Qualifying for the San Diego team tournament will be based on Cactus Series Results from the Pro Open divisions with up to two "Captain's Choice" exceptions.
  • Get a $5 discount on Cactus Series events by joining the Arizona Disc Golf Club (no discount for The Memorial)
  • Amateur divisions will be according to the new PDGA format.  Join the PDGA, get your rating, so you know you're playing in the correct division.
